Background
Paul Delano is a dynamic technology innovator
who has created significant technology breakthroughs throughout his diverse
career. He has four issued patents in the area of computer aided design,
artificial intelligence and collaborative search and has been the founding
member of four technology companies.
He received a BS Electrical and Computer
Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a MS Computer and Systems
Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Just out of college, he
helped to create the software engineering standards at the GE Corporate R&D
Center. Since then, he has continuously innovated by creating the first Internet
Relay Chat client at Prodigy, creating the first Internet commerce site for
PC Flowers.com and creating the infrastructure for a nationwide interactive
television system. He taught professional Java courses at companies like
JPMorganChase, Hewlett Packard, and Mitre Corporation. He has also developed
key infrastructure systems for Pfizer, GartnerGroup and Lucent
Technologies.
He was co-founder and CTO of eWayDirect,
an email marketing company with a unique online publishing platform. More
recently, he created a web-based online publishing technology being used
by thousands of people on multiple e-commerce sites. Also in 2005, he was
recognized by the Fairfield County Business Journal as one of the "40 Under
40" leaders in Fairfield County CT.
